And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
And he was afraid and said, “How fearsome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
Then he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is nothing else than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”
Then Jacob woke up. “God lives here!” he exclaimed in terror. “I’ve stumbled into his home! This is the awesome entrance to heaven!”
Jacob woke up from his sleep. He said, “God is in this place—truly. And I didn’t even know it!” He was terrified. He whispered in awe, “Incredible. Wonderful. Holy. This is God’s House. This is the Gate of Heaven.”
He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

He was filled with fear and said, “How terrible this place is! This is truly the house of God, this is the gate to heaven.”
He was afraid and said, “This place frightens me! It is surely the house of God and the gate of heaven.”
He was afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is! This is nothing else than the house of God! This is the gate of heaven!”

He was afraid and said, “This place is so different! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
But he was also afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!”
And he was afraid, and said, ‘How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.’
And he was afraid, and said, ‘How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.’
And he was afraid, and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
And he was afraid, and said, How nora (awesome) is this place! This is none other than the Beis Elohim, and this is the Sha’ar HaShomayim.
And he was afraid, and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
And he was afraid, and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
So he was afraid and said, “How fearsome this place is! This is none other than the House of God—this must be the gate of heaven!”
But even as he said this, a bit of fear came over him. Jacob: This place is absolutely awesome! It can be none other than the house of God and the gateway into heaven!
He was afraid, and said, “How awesome this place is! This is none other than God’s house, and this is the gate of heaven.”
And he said dreading, How fearedful, or worshipful, is this place! Here is none other thing, no but the house of God, and the gate of heaven. (And he said with fear, or with reverence, How fearful, or how worshipful, is this place! This is nothing else, but the House of God, or Bethel, yea, the gateway to heaven/yea, heaven’s gate!)
and he feareth, and saith, `How fearful [is] this place; this is nothing but a house of God, and this a gate of the heavens.'
